Weft Interlining Black by Haensel

Weft Interlining is a medium-weight, fusible interlining made of viscose and polyester, perfect for reinforcing the front parts of tailor-made blazers or coats. Unlike the horsehair canvas, which we also carry, Haensel’s product is vegan.

It is available in both black and white.

The product fuses to the fabric from an ironing temperature of 120 degrees Celsius (=lowest setting). It is therefore also suitable for heat-sensitive fabrics.

Instruction manual:

• Place the insert on the wrong side of the fabric to be reinforced.
• Press on for 5 to 7 seconds at low temperature (possibly also with steam).
