This crepe is an attractive woven fabric made of viscose. Classically, heavily twisted weft threads (French crêper = crimp) are used in the production. This results in an uneven, matt surface with slight shiny spots.
The French label Atelier Brunette was one of the first to bring crepe back into the spotlight some time ago. Before that, this type of fabric – although beautiful and ideal for making clothes – had been forgotten for decades.
We carry the fabrics from Paris in various colours.
