Tweed ‘Check Business’ by Hello Heidi

Wooohoo! Finally our first own coat tweed is live. The beautiful, high-quality fabric was woven by the company Zuleeg in Upper Franconia on behalf of Hello Heidi Fabrics. The collection ‘Check’ consists of three fabrics which have one thing in common: the overcheck. This is the name given to the pattern that lies over the fabric. Apart from that, the designs differ not only in colour, but also in composition, feel and general effect.

The ‘Check Business’ variant is a classic gray tweed with a so-called faux-uni base. This means that gray looks uniform, but in reality is made up of several tones. On top is the subtle overcheck in light blue and purple. (Don’t worry, you can only see the purple if you look very closely, but the slight colour difference adds a little excitement to the fabric). The silk content makes the material soft, but compared to ‘Check City’ ‘Check Business’ is still firmer and more rustic due to the higher wool content. This makes the fabric an excellent base material for men’s jackets and coats. Of course, the business version is also suitable for women, but since the guys always get a little short here, now a real men’s fabric.
