The thimble by Bohin was made in France from nickel plated brass.
Most people wear the thimble on the middle finger of the left hand (right-handers) or vice versa (left-handers). The decisive factor in the choice is the circumference of this finger in the area of the upper limb. Although there are countless sizes, these three cover the spectrum well:
Small – 15.3mm ( petite fingertip)
Medium – 16.1mm (average fingertip)
Large – 17mm (strong fingertip)
