Perfect Hem T40 White by Vlieseline

The Perfect Hem T40 tape from Vlieseline is used for hemming blouses, skirts and trousers. It is 4cm wide, 3m long and made of polyester.

There are two ways to use the product, the classic and the lazy version: Either you iron the tape in, fold the fabric over and sew the stabilised hem in place – or you don’t need to sew it in place at all.

We also stock the hem tape in black.

Usage:

1. Finish the hem edge, iron in a hem (at least 4 cm), open the hem back up and insert Perfect Hem. The thin side should be facing up, the visible blind stitch facing the hem and the invisible side facing outwards.

2. With a damp cloth, iron on for around 10 seconds, section by section. You can remove a potential hem imprint by ironing underneath the upper hem edge with the tip of the iron.
