We admit it: With this product the line between ‘practical’ and ‘simply beautiful’ becomes blurred. Although Cohana’s cast-iron ‘button’ is great as a sewing weight or paperweight, it can also be used as a decorative object.
Cohana is a Japanese artists’ collective specializing in the production and distribution of exceptional sewing accessories. In doing so, the makers always fall back on old knowledge.
The Cohana brass button fits perfectly in the hand, but still has enough weight to serve as a sewing weight or paperweight. One button has a diameter of 6 cm and is about 2.4 cm high. The ‘buttonholes’ are also pen holders.
