E6000 Glue

There are sewing projects where there is no getting around glue. The classic example would be the installation of purse frames. However, we know from experience that the ‘ordinary’ textile adhesive, which is available everywhere, literally does not ‘keep’ its promises. There is a huge mess because the glue is too liquid – and then after a few applications everything falls apart.

In principle, this was our basic assumption for a long time. Until we discovered E6000. This is a, no, THE professional textile adhesive from the USA. Here are the features:

• viscous
• clear
• transparent
• waterproof
• non-flammable
• flexible
• glues fabric and leather reliably
• dry after 24h, washable after 72h

Important note: The chemicals contained in the adhesive are approved in Switzerland or the EU and are often used in different contexts. Nevertheless, they are among the substances for which caution is required. Make sure that E6000 does not get into the hands of children! If you use the glue, also make sure the room is well ventilated. It goes without saying that the glue should neither be eaten nor applied to the skin.
