Heidi Dots – that’s the name of the dot fabrics that our long-time designer Anne Bomio has designed for us. We wanted a classic, yet contemporary interpretation of the pattern. No boring standard dots, but dotties that step out of the line, that are shaped as individually as we all are.
After the success of the first edition, a new colour palette is now added, this time printed on a ‘Cotton Sateen’. Sateen is a technical term for fabrics that have been mercerised. This is the name given to a finishing step in which the cotton is deliberately soaked in a lye. This causes the fibres to swell, making their surface denser. This in turn leads to a glossy effect that is so typical of this fabric quality. The pre-treatment has another positive effect: the printed image appears clearer, the colours shine more intensely (not in the sense of flashy, but in the sense of luxurious).
Here are the new variants:
Black Nude (Nude corresponds to the Pantone colour ‘Shell’).
Black Pink (Pink corresponds to the Pantone shade ‘Flamingo Pink’)
Pink Black (Pink corresponds to the Pantone shade ‘Flamingo Pink’)
Lilac Blue (Lilac corresponds to the Pantone shade ‘Lavender Frost’, Blue to the shade ‘Amparo Blue’)
Blue Lilac (Blue corresponds to the Pantone shade ‘Amparo Blue’, Lilac to the shade ‘Lavender Frost’)
The Heidi Dots are perfect for dresses, blouses and skirts.
