KARINA PETERSEN, KOLDING (DK)
‘Hi, my name is Karina and I’m a Danish watercolour artist. As a graphic designer, I worked mainly in the digital field for years. However, the artistic aspect was neglected, which is why I started experimenting with watercolours. Brushes, water and pigments – these were already my favourite tools and materials in my childhood.Watercolour painting is an intuitive process. You are rewarded with the most beautiful and exciting colour combinations and gradients, but you have to accept that you can only control the result to a limited extent. The colours and textures enhance moods and feelings. I love this aspect of the work.’ More about Karina

HELLO HEIDI FABRICS, ZURICH (CH)‘What is the best part of being a fabric shop owner? It’s he part where we can create our own designs. No, we didn’t learn this in the classical way, but we love colours and textures, plus we have a feeling for trends. Sometimes the journey to a Hello Heidi collection starts with a simple question: Why isn’t this fabric available yet? And off we go… ‘ Bettina and the Hello Heidi team
